Though this season has been much drier and therefore less hospitable for some vegetable diseases there are still a couple around that are affecting plants and so I want to give you some info on them.

The two most serious are Basil Blight and Late Blight. Both are fungal diseases that can kill the affected plants quickly, basil for the former and potatoes and tomatoes for the latter.
